The Necessity - Supply & Demand

There is an evolving gap between the supply and the demand for fish and seafood products.

On one hand, the demand is consistently growing, driven by various vectors, such as population expansion, rise of purchasing power, maturing tastes, latest trends and others.

On the other hand, striving to meet the rapidly growing demand, the existing inefficient supply methods are facing numerous challenges: ecological barriers, climate changes, gas & oil and other industrial pollutions and the increasing input costs, resulting in lesser capacity and constant pressure on the supply.

The shortage of the supplies results in higher prices for mariculture products and higher incentives for developing innovative and efficient solutions for the fishing industry.
